Brian and Barry is one of the newest department stores and is exclusively located in Milan. Spread across 12 floors, the store is home to over 200 fashion labels, household names we know and love as well as emerging designers. Located in the heart of Milan’s busy San Babila, the store is in the center of Milanese life just a stone’s throw away from the Duomo. Having opened in 1994, Frip originally sold uniquely vintage stock, it then progressed in 1998 where they had a DJ corner on Vinyl and CD. As you can imagine, this became a lifestyle and fashion hub. The store’s interior is a masterpiece and couldn’t be more enticing to enter. Granted the exterior doesn’t give much away- it’s almost as though they like it to be hidden and tucked away. With brands from Saint Laurent to Borsalino to Aqua Di Parma; the store always surprises you with what you might find. They keep their stock so fresh and new that you will always be up to date with the latest clothing, gadgets and accessories. Be prepared to dig deep if you want to venture into this store; however, even if your budget isn’t generous side, you can still spend hours browsing through the latest things they have in store and stop for a coffee on your way out!
