Ten Final Concerts at Expo Milano 2015
Elisa, Emis Killa, Guè Pequeno, Marracash, Mario Biondi: The Big Names in Music Take to the Stage at Expo

Having hosted the wonderful performance by Cirque du Soleil, the stage of the San Carlo Open Air Theater now lifts its curtain on the big names in music: in total there are seven concerts and three events scheduled for September and October.

The program on offer is varied and contains a wide selection of different musical genres. Admission to all concerts is subject to availability and is free of charge to holders of a Season Pass, day tickets or the 5 euro evening ticket.The doors open two hours before the show begins.

The Kolors: from “Amici” to Expo Milano 2015
It all begins on Friday, September 11 at 20:30 with The Kolors, winners of the fourteenth edition of the talent show “Amici” presented by Maria De Filippi and the Critics’ Award. The band is famous for the hit “Everytime” from their new album “Out” which took them to the top of the album charts in Italy.

Elisa returns to Milan
On Sunday, September 13 at 21:00 the music continues with talented singer-songwriter Elisa. One of the most popular female singers in Italy, who also has many fans abroad, Elisa returns to treat Milan to a special live performance.

On Thursday, September 24 at 21:00, Edoardo Bennato & Farmers – Musica per la terra will take center stage with an event promoted by Eataly focusing on the Theme of Expo Milano 2015 and one aspect in particular: that of agriculture and respecting the land by giving Italian farmers and producers a voice.

The elegance of Russian ballet on the stage of the Open Air Theater
On Sunday, September 27 at 20:30, the famous Russian company Igor Moiseyev Ballet will perform. It is the first professional folk dance company in the world to boast a repertoire of over 300 traditional dances, choreographed pieces and ballets.

50 years of Chilean history in the company of Inti-Illimani
Tuesday, September 29 at 20:00, the legendary Chilean group Inti-Illimani will pay tribute to Chile, marking the Country’s National Day with a concert that not only lets us enjoy all their previous hits, but also narrates 50 years of history and struggles through music.

An evening of hip hop for dancing with Marracash, Guè Pequeno and Emis Killa
The following month is certainly no less exciting, with the Hip Hop Night on Saturday, October 3 at 21:00, when the stage will take turns at hosting three big names on the Italian hip hop scene: Marracash, Guè Pequeno and Emis Killa, formerly the stars of the MTV program Spit, the first freestyle program on Italian television.

Mario Biondi presents “Beyond”
On Tuesday, October 13 at 21:00, it will be the turn of Mario Biondi, soul crooner with an unmistakable timbre, currently on tour with “Mario Biondi live 2015”, who will present tracks from his new album of original songs “Beyond” and many of his most popular songs.

Words and music in laghée dialect
On Saturday, October 17 at 20:30, Van De Sfroos (a.k.a Davide Bernasconi), will take to the stage. An artist who grew up near the lake of Como and who sings in Tremezzino (or laghée) dialect, his performance is an excellent representation of the entire tradition of Lombardy. The concert by Van De Sfroos will take place in the Auditorium.

Concerts and circus performances from the Czech Republic
Wednesday, October 28 will host a day of music and shows organized by the Czech Republic in the Open Air Theater from 15:00 to 20:00, culminating with a performance by The Varhan Orchtrovic Bauer orchestra.

The magic of David Merlini brings the events of October to a close
On Thursday, 29 October, Hungary will bring the program of events to a magnificent close, with the David Merlini Show at the Auditorium: a show by the famous illusionist David Merlini that no visitor should miss.
